The Conclusion of the War
The conclusion of the American Revolutionary War was that the Americans have won. Although this war took many years, it was all worth it to the colonist so that they could be finally free from England. Most of the colonists were joyful that they had won, but there were also people who were upset. Some people were upset because England was their native county and had family still there. The war took eight years to be officially free from England. Now that the colonists were free they could set up their own government, establish laws, and start living the life that they wanted. Soon after war was over, the colonist elected Gorge Washington to be the first official president and to run the army.
